Carpets of Texas – Service Policies

1. Estimates & Scheduling

  • All estimates are valid for 30 days.

  • Pricing may change if job conditions differ from the original scope.

  • Jobs are scheduled only after deposit is received.

 

2. Deposits & Payments

  • A deposit is required to secure materials and installation date.

  • Remaining balance is due immediately upon completion.

  • Payments not received within 3 days may be subject to late fees.

 

3. Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • Cancellations must be submitted in writing.

    • After scheduling and onward: 100% of the deposit will be retained. DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE 

  • No-shows will result in full loss of deposit.

  • Rescheduling must be requested at least 48 hours in advance and is subject to availability.

 

4. Material Orders

  • All material orders are final once placed.

  • Special order materials are non-refundable.

  • Dye lot and color variations may occur and are not considered defects.

 

5. Job Site Preparation

  • Customer is responsible for moving furniture, personal items, and valuables unless otherwise agreed.

  • Additional charges may apply if the job site is not ready.

 

6. Subfloor & Prep Work

  • Subfloor prep is not included unless specified.

  • Any additional work required will be discussed and approved before proceeding.

 

7. Installation Standards

  • Installation is completed according to industry standards.

  • Seams, transitions, shading, and lighting variations are normal and not considered defects.

 

8. Warranty

  • 1-year labor warranty on installation.

  • Manufacturer warranties apply to materials.

  • Warranty does not cover:

    • Damage from misuse, pets, or burns

    • Cuts, stains, or improper cleaning

 

9. Cleanup

  • Installation debris will be removed.

  • Basic cleanup is included.

 

10. Access to Property

  • Customer must provide access at the scheduled time.

  • Delays may result in additional charges.

 

11. Liability

  • Not responsible for pre-existing damage or structural issues.

  • Any concerns must be reported within 24 hours of completion.

 

12. Minimum Charges

  • Minimum service charge: $450.

 

13. Change Orders

  • Any changes must be approved and may affect price and timeline.
